Film Festival

This week was rather uneventful, but I did go to see a film at the International Film Festival  with a friend.  We had a difficult time choosing what film we would want to see, so I sought the advice from my friend from home  other-half.  She really didn't have any input other than to we went to go see a Chinese film.  By coincidence, my German friend happened to want to see Lao Wai and this movie also happened to be the only film that my friend wanted to see that also fit in my schedule, and so we went.
While my friend was here, we saw them setting up this building in the castle garden.  It turns out that building was meant to house this film festival!  Apparently when you reserve tickets, you also get a free trip up to the castle on the cable car that runs up there.  The train looked cool, but other than that, it turned out to be incredibly non-exciting, which made me glad that I had never paid for it in the past.  All in all, getting to go to the festival was cool.  I got to see a movie that I would not otherwise be able to see in theaters.  The movie itself was cute and funny at times and definitely worth seeing.

Tomorrow begins my long series of weekends with no downtime.  I am off to visit Budapest early tomorrow!
